Kamchatka Ice Cave, Russia :

Kamchatka Ice Cave, Russia :

This surreal looking ice cave is found on the Kamchatka Peninsula of Russia. The just about kilometer long tunnel was framed by a high temp water spring streaming underneath the cold ice fields on the flanks of the close by Mutnovsky well of lava. In light of the fact that ice sheets on Kamchatka volcanoes have been liquefying lately, the top of this hollow is presently so thin that daylight infiltrates through it, shockingly enlightening the cold structures inside. The Kamchatka Peninsula, in the furthest east of Russia, is a locale of extraordinary characteristic delightfulness with its extensive symmetrical volcanoes, lakes, wild waterways and marvelous coastline. The unobtrusive human abuse has kept the promontory and its vegetation in generally perfect condition.
