Someshwar Beach is located at a distance of 9 Km to the south of Mangalore and 0.5 km from Someshwar Bus Stand. Someshwar beach is well known for the large rocks called "Rudra Shile". The other attraction of Someshwar beach is the historical Somanath temple constructed during the rule of the famous queen Abbakka Devi is situated in the north side.
