Kangaroo Valley is a small town two hours' drive southwest of Sydney, New South Wales.Kangaroo Valley is a fully enclosed valley seated between the New South Wales South Coast and the Southern Highlands. It is an idyllic location, with a small town that offers an old suspension bridge and a number of historic buildings and antique stores to browse. At the same time, please don't rely on the 'Kangaroo' part of the name: there's close to nothing related to kangaroos in this place, which, frankly speaking, doesn't make this place less beautiful. From Sydney: (approx 150 km) take Eastern Distributor, then S Western Motorway/Freeway, then Hume Highway, then Old Hume Highway, then follow the signs to Fitzroy Falls - Kangaroo Valley is just 10+ km drive further the same road. Please be advised that some built-in GPS devices show Moss Vale Rd (Kangaroo Valley's main road) as Cambewarra Rd.
